Congrats girl, you did it!!! 💃

Our lovely Natálie just finished her study at the UMPRUM Academy of Arts in Prague, and we are so proud of her 🥰 This freshly baked Master of Arts chose fashion for people with one breast as topic for her final exam. What a special experience this was for all of us, we’ve learned so much from each other! 🙏 Wherever possible, AMA WEAR supported Natálie with sharing knowledge, experiences and contacts. Natálie found a group of women with one breast and listened to their stories, needs, feedback and physical obstacles, to create fashion for people, not for the rack. The women were also amazing patient, flexible and supportive models. The minimalist collection “CECILIE” celebrates the character that not necessarily hides the lack of a breast. At the same time, attention is drawn to decorative details such as wraps and folds in soft and flowing fabrics. AMA WEAR is now giving Natalie a well deserved breather 🤪 before we discuss the finishing touches and, last but not least, she provides us with the patterns for her collection. Finally you will find the patterns for free download in our e-shop. The designs are easy to sew, so you can look forward to it! 🤩

The collection “CECILIE” is named after a brave, young Norwegian woman after unilateral mastectomy who unfortunately died one year ago. Read here about Cecilie’s story.

Take care, people! 💛 Barbara
